Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (“Posie Parker”) – UK Anti-Trans Activist

Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, better known by the pseudonym “Posie Parker,” is a British anti-trans activist and perhaps the most internationally famous figure associated with IPNZ’s campaign. She rose to prominence through her “Let Women Speak” events, which she takes around the world. Keen advocates for the exclusion of trans women from women’s spaces and is known for provocative stunts (like billboards defining “woman” as adult human female). In March 2023, Posie Parker attempted to tour New Zealand; however, massive counter-protests in Auckland overwhelmed her rally, dousing her in tomato juice and forcing her to flee under police escort. She cancelled her Wellington event and left the country amid the chaos. The incident made global headlines as a flashpoint in NZ’s culture wars. Despite – or because of – this notoriety, Inflection Point NZ invited Keen to speak (via livestream) at the May 2024 Unsilenced summit. Her inclusion signaled solidarity with the global “gender-critical” movement. Posie Parker’s presence was de facto via video; she greeted the NZ audience and reiterated her warnings about transgender ideology. Keen’s activism is controversial even among some feminists due to her associations (in Australia her rally was attended by neo-Nazis performing Nazi salutes). Nevertheless, she has a substantial social media reach and a devoted following. On YouTube and X (@ThePosieParker
), she amplifies stories of what she calls “trans extremism” and rallies supporters under slogans like “Woman = Adult Human Female”. By aligning with Keen, Inflection Point tapped into an international network of supporters and drew media attention (indeed NZ headlines noted the summit featured “Posie Parker” alongside Brian Tamaki). Keen remains a polarizing symbol: for IPNZ’s base she’s a truth-teller defending women; for others, she embodies imported hate speech. Either way, her profile raised the stakes and visibility of Inflection Point’s campaign.
